HP proposed on Windows 8 Tablets


HP disclosed that they are planning for Windows 8 Tablets and Ultrabooks. Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman cleared that they are not planning to bring back touchpad tablet which was a failure. But, HP is trying to update and release their Windows 8 Tablets and Windows 8 Ultrabooks by 2012. Meg Whitman stated "I think we need to be in tablet business and we're certainly going to be there with Windows 8".

“What are the real challenges we're going to make in 2012”, said Whitman. Windows 8 Tablets, especially those for both consumers and enterprise customers, possible for a major opportunity. HP has a chance to take advantage of the growing "consumer favor on IT business" while it's still in its planning.

“In the future, major companies are going to instruct their employees to bring their own devices," Whitman explained. Then how can one control personal system and security? HP wants to have their products highly user-friendly and likable by consumers and the CIO.

HP has really concern on their PC division; HP business is to appraise the platform it attained from palm. HP's executive vice president for Personal system group - Todd Bradley stated that the company is 'very focused' on their 'Ultramobile' HP notebooks for the future.

HP Windows 8 Tablets process


License out the software from HP is to third parties. It is just same as Microsoft does with Windows Phone, and is so they say negotiating with those clients. As consumer market well knows that HP and Compaq once had excellent laptops series. They were the best of the best laptops as well as other PC systems. Also it would last for many years, trouble free and guaranteed.

HP's Personal Systems Group executive vice president - Todd Bradley, further stated that they are in the beginning stages in a new segment in personal computing with tablets. Accepting that the tablet space is a very competitive business that is going very sharply around the globe, Todd Bradley remained confidential about the decision and direction that HP is taking with this new strategy.
