Acer Ultra M5-581TG-6666 is a 15.6-inch highest price ranged $829.99 ultrabook, powered by fast Ivy Bridge processor and running Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

The device has 15.6-inch display screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a webcam of 1.3 MP. The machine houses fast Ivy Bridge Intel Core i5-3317M processor that runs at 2.6GHz. The device comes with NVIDIA's GeForce GT640M LE graphics cards and 6GB of DDR3 and 500GB HDD 20GB SSD Cache DVDRW.

The machine runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits upgradable to Windows 8 Pro. The Windows 8 upgrade is available at Microsoft's website for $14.99. Offer is valid upto Jan 31, 2013 but Windows 8 released date not announced yet.

The device provides 802.11bgn Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 + HS Gigabit Ethernet and 2 USB 3.0, 1 USB 2.0, 1 HDMI Ethernet port, 1 combo headphone/mic AC power for connectivity. The laptop provides up to eight hours of battery life with 3 cells.

The system dimensioned to 375mm x 250mm 20mm in size and 2.30 kg in weight. An integrated anti-theft feature lets the laptop to be disabled in case of lost or theft that can be easily enabled when found.
