With confirmed release news of Windows 8 on Oct 26, 2012, a number of Windows 8 tablets and laptops 2012 are also being announced by tablet manufacturers. Lenovo is not only a famous brand but also known for smooth performance of its fast running Lenovo tablets and laptops in market. Till now we have seen many Lenovo laptops rocking the market but now Lenovo is coming up with its first Lenovo Windows 8 tablet named as Thinkpad. The tablet will surely happen to be one of the best laptops of 2012.

The 10.1-inch touchscreen display Thinkpad tablet is coming up with Intel's dual core processor with 2GB of RAM and running on Windows 8 operating system.

The Windows 8 based Lenovo Thinkpad tablet will be featuring 10.1-inch WXGA touch screen display and the device will be embedding all Windows 8 features like metro style interfaces and Windows 8 charms and applications like windows explorer 10, getting apps from Windows stores, safer web surfing, fresh recovery, Windows defender for security purpose and many more.

The Thinkpad is one of the Fast processor tablets as it will run on dual-core Intel Clover Trail processor coupled to 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Like Asus Pad Transformer Prime, Lenovo Thinkpad also packed with a dockable keyboard that lets the tablet to be converted at notebook whenever required by user. The dockable keyboard tablets have stylus input options for customer that are surely one of the best features of some of the upcoming tablets let the users work on device more easily.

As still the Thinkpad has not been announced officially by Lenovo till now, so there is no price information for the tablet we have, for now.

Lenovo Thinkpad Release

Thinkpad 2 is the first Windows 8 tablet from Lenovo and will be priced at $799 with a keyboard dock. The Window RT version of tablet estimated to be be sold in between $300-$600 price range. Lenovo Thinkpad 2 will be released with roll out of Windows 8 operating system, this month's end.
