Recently, Archos announced its first gaming tablet in market. The Archos machine embeds physical gaming controls to a full Android OS based tablet resulting to create an ultimate GamePad. The gamepad features 7-inches capacitive screen, dual-core processor and showing ultimate gaming controls abilities on Android platform. Archos is an award winning organization in consumer-electronics and pioneer in portable audio-video player market since 1988. The GamePad features 7-inches capacitive screen with full access to Google play and powered up by a dual-core processor running at 1.5GHz speed and combines to a Mali 400mp quad-core GPU.

The Archos gaming tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwitch operating system. The GamePad is a gaming tablet embedding automatic game recognition and mapping tools – a patented technology helpful in controlling compatibility with existing and upcoming advance Android games too. With this technology, the games that originally not include physical control mapping, can also map with GamePad's physical control buttons.

As a result of such automatic game recognition and mapping system, the physical controls of GamePad already compatible with over thousands of android games.

The GamePad will be cost lesser than 150€ or $188 and will be available at the end of October this year.
