Teracom Lofty TZ100 Android Tablet from MTNL: Specs, price and reviews
MTNL has come up with three new Android tablets under the name ‘Lofty’ in Indian tablet market. Lofty TZ100 is the highest priced tablet featuring latest Android operating platform with Cortex A9 architecture based processor and capacitive multi-touch support. Lofty TZ100 Android Tablet
Out of the three newly unveiled Android tablets MTNL, The Lofty TZ100 is a 7-inches capacitive multi-touch display screen tablet. The machine also features Android operating system and empowered by Cortex A9 ARM processor.
Lofty TZ100 Spec and features
The Teracom Lofty TZ100 Android MTNL tablet featuring 7-inches capacitive multi-touch screen display and 1024 x 600 pixles screen resolution that is running on latest Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwitch operating system from Google.
The MTNL tablet embeds Cortex A9 ARM CPU running at 1.2 GHz and couples to 512MB DDR3 RAM with 4GB of internal storage and 32GB of external storage support with an SD card slot for memory expansion.
Unlike junior brothers TZ300 and TZ200, the TZ100 comes with two cameras – one 0.3MP of front facing camera for video calling and other 3MP of rear camera with 4200 mAh of battery support for long life. For multimedia, machine supports MPEG, AVI, MKV, FLV, RM/RMVB, VP8, up to 1080P format support too.
The affordable tablet also supports USB 2.0 for data transfer, GPS, 3G Gravity sensor and 3D and digital compass, HDMI port for HD TV and Bluetooth technology for wireless data transfer.
This version of Lofty Android tablet also support for HSDPA Data Speed up to 7.0 MBPS, 850/900/1800/1900 EDGE, 850/900/1800/2100 MHZ of WCDMA and HSUPA Data speed up to 5.76Mbps.
Teracom is an Indian device manufacturer with its own manufacturing unit in Goa and already supplying 3G data cards to BSNL and MTNL. The tablets can be booked through Teracom online store (terracomstore.in) as well as MTNL Sanchar haats.
MTNL is offering all three tablets with free complementary data bundle of 10GB of 3G data with validity of two months for both local as well as roaming.

The priced for Teracom Lofty TZ100 tablet is set at Rs. 10,999/- INR in Mumbai, India.
Conclusion
Lofty TZ100 is most expensive tablet among the recently announced MTNL tablet under the name 'Lofty'. The device is supersedes other twos not only in respect of cost but also for many specs and features like fastest processor - Cortex A9 architecture based processor, maximum screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixles, extra SD card slot for memory expansion, extra camera, more powerful battery of 4200 mAh, additional 3D and digital compass and Bluetooth technology.
