MTNL in partnership with a device manufacturer - Teracom, showcased its three new different price ranged Android tablets under the name ‘Lofty’ for Indian tablet market. Out of the three, Lofty TZ200 is the middle priced tablet featuring latest Android technology with ARM processing engine and capacitive multi-touch support. This post covers specs, price and reviews for this Lofty TZ200 Android tablet PC.

Lofty TZ200 Android Tablet

MTNL unveiled its three new Android tablets under name Lofty bundled to complementary offer of 10GB of 3G data valid with 2 month's validity. The TZ200 is the 7-inches capacitive multi-touch display tablet. The device also features Android operating system and powered by Cortex A8 ARM processor.

Lofty TZ200 Spec and features

The TZ200 tablet from MTNL features 7-inches capacitive multi-touch screen display with 800 x 480 pixles of screen resolution running on Google's latest Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwitch operating system.

The device encompasses Cortex A8 ARM processor running at 1.2 GHz coupled to 512 MB of DDR3 RAM and 4GB of internal storage with 32GB of external storage support.

Like junior brother TZ300, the TZ200 also comes equipped with a 0.3MP of front facing camera for video calling with 3000 mAh of battery support for long life. For multimedia, machine has support for AVI, MPEG, MKV, FLV, RM/RMVB, VP8, up to 1080P format support too.

The device has support for USB 2.0 for data transfer, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n for internet connectivity, 3G Dongle support and 3D Gravity sensor for networking.

The offer for 3G data valid for two month with complementary data bundle of 10GB, for both local as well as roaming calls is also applicable for Lofty TZ200 device.

The priced for Teracom Lofty TZ200 tablet is set at Rs. 6450/- INR in Mumbai, India.

Conclusion
Though the most of the features are same for both Lofty series TZ300 and TZ200 tablets from MTNL yet the multi-touch screen is one of the most affective price factors among the tablets in market, now a days . The cheapest TZ300 version of Lofty series has only 7-inches LCD resistive touch-screen where the TZ200 has Multi-touch capacitive screen so worth higher.
